A hydraulic thumb opens and closes against the bucket so you can grab, lift and place timber, rock and demolition debris. A mechanical grab is a fixed jaw that does a similar job without hydraulics. Either one is the most useful demolition and landscaping add-on after a tilt bucket.
How to choose
- Hydraulic thumb for R18, R22 and R32; mechanical thumb for R10
- Mechanical grabs for R10/R13/R15, R18 and R22
- The thumb works with the bucket you already have; a grapple replaces it
